Directors Notes from Dr. Charles Moll

Throughout his long and distinguished teaching career, choirs under his directorship have been nationally and internationally recognized with superior ratings. One of his most recent honors was a personal invitation by Eric Whitacre, to join Eric Whitacre's International Music Festival, which took place in the Forbidden City Concert Hall in Beijing, China, in 2006.

Dr. Moll retired from the Downingtown High School East Campus after 30 years of Choral Directing and helping his choirs achieve accolades in national and international competitions every year.

Directors Notes from Mr. Christopher McGinley

Mr. McGinley studied music at Henderson High School with Joe Buglio and at the University of Delaware with Paul Head. Noteworthy conducting positions include the directorships of the New Ark UCC Choir; Vocal Synthesis, a collegiate chamber choir; and the AstraZeneca Singers. His relationship with PAPA began in the Summer of 2006 when he toured with a group of singers through four cities of China.

Chris is very pleased to be the Director of The Chorale, and aspires to help PAPA grow into a vibrant international entity that will create and support true excellence in the arts.

Directors Notes from Mrs. Sarah-Katherine Shealy Mikijanic

Mrs. Mikijanic is a 2006 graduate of the University of Delaware with a Music Education degree. She currently teaches music at the PA Leadership Charter School Center for Performing and Fine Arts in West Chester. During the Summer of 2006, Mrs. Mikijanic directed and led the envoy of singers to China on a four city tour. Overcoming language barriers, she directed concerts on foreign soil to enable the American voices to bring our parts of the world together in song.

Mrs. Mikijanic is PAPA's Director of the Chamber Choir, voices prepared to perform choral music in many genres for any occassion.
